Sakya Buddha University (SBU) là một Trường Đại học hướng đến nền giáo dục khoa học tâm linh đa sắc tộc trên toàn cầu.

Trong niên khóa 2025 – 2027, chúng tôi mong muốn tiếp nhận 200 (hai trăm) học viên cao học đến từ Việt Nam với học bổng toàn phần, bao gồm: nơi ăn, ở, học phí, và bảo hiểm sức khỏe. Tổng số chi phí mỗi suất học bổng trong 2 năm khoản 89,000.00 (tám mươi chín ngàn) USD cho mỗi học viên.

Chương trình đào tạo chi tiết được ghi rõ trong Sổ Tay Sinh Viên (xem tại: www.sakyauniversity.com), cụ thể có 2 lớp: Cao học Triết học Phật giáo và Cao học Tư Vấn Tâm Lý Phật Giáo.

Điều kiện bắt buộc về học vấn và phí bảo lãnh:

  1. Tốt nghiệp Cử nhân một trong ba Học viện kể trên.
  2. Hoàn thành khóa học tiếng Anh dành cho sinh viên quốc tế do SBU liên kết đào tạo từ 26 tuần đến 50 tuần.
  3. Phí nhập học, nộp cho trường liên kết đào tạo tiếng Anh: 250 (hai trăm năm mươi) USD.
  4. Phí hồ sơ I20, nộp cho Sở Di Trú Hoa Kỳ (USCIS): 350 (ba trăm năm mươi) USD.
  5. Phí bảo lãnh một hồ sơ, gồm: 1,500 (một ngàn năm trăm) USD nộp cho luật sư và 600 (sáu trăm) USD nộp cho USCIS. 
  6. Sổ tiết kiệm cá nhân trị giá hơn 16,200 (mười sáu ngàn hai trăm) USD.
  7. Sau khi tốt nghiệp, nếu học viên hội đủ tài đức và có nguyện vọng phục vụ giáo dục cho SBU thì được bảo lãnh làm việc lâu dài, ngoài ra các học viên không được bảo lãnh thì buộc phải về lại Việt Nam.

SBU sẵn sàng đón nhận tất cả sinh viên hội đủ 7 điều kiện đến từ ba học viện trên.

4. All students must reside for a minimum of four (4) semesters
5. Proficiency requirement in a modern research language
6. Successful oral defense of the thesis

Master of Arts in Buddhist Counseling Psychology

The Master in Buddhist Counseling Psychology focuses on the intersection between Buddhist psychology and Western multicultural counseling in helping individuals, couples, families, and communities. The program is aligned to the requirements for Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Program Requirements

To successfully complete the Master of Arts in Buddhist Counseling Psychology, students must fulfill the following requirements:

1. Admission into the Master in Buddhist Counseling Psychology program
2. Consistent progress
3. A minimum of 63 graduate-level units as outlined below:
   - One (1) Introduction course (3 units)
    -Six (6) Foundational courses (18 units)
   - Six (6) Core courses (18 units)
    -Six (6) Advance courses (18 units)
    -Two (2) Clinical education courses (6 units)
4. All students must reside for a minimum of six (6) semesters

Master of Divinity in Buddhist Chaplaincy

A Master of Divinity in Buddhist Chaplaincy at SBU is a graduate degree program designed to train individuals in providing spiritual care and guidance rooted in Buddhist principles. This program typically combines academic study of Buddhist texts, philosophy, and ethics with practical training in pastoral care, counseling, and interfaith communication. To successfully complete the Master of Divinity in Buddhist Chaplaincy, students must fulfill the following requirements:
1. Admission into the Master of Divinity in Buddhist Chaplaincy program
2. Consistent progress
3. A minimum of 72 graduate-level credit hours as outlined below:
   -Thirty-one (31) core courses (69 units)
   -One (1) research methodology course (3 units)
4. All students must reside for a minimum of six (6) semesters
5. Successful oral defense of the thesis
6. Maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0
