Thâu:

1) Rút lui (thâu lại): To withdraw.

2) See Thâu Đạo.

3) Thâu nhận: To receive—To gather—To collect.

Thâu Bà: Tháp—Stupa.

Thâu Cốt: To collect the bones or relics after cremation.

Thâu Đạo: Trộm đạo—To rob—To steal (one of the ten sins).

Thâu Lạn Giá Da: Sthulatyaya (skt)—Sự vi phạm trầm trọng, một trong những vi phạm lớn của Tăng Ni (tội bị đuổi khỏi giáo đoàn)—A great transgression, one of the major transgressions of a monk or nun.

Thâu Ngắn: To cut short.

Thâu Thần Nhập Diệt: Gathered up his vital energy and expired on the spot.

Thấu Đáo: Thoroughly.

Thấu Hiểu: To understand thoroughly.

Thấu Lý: See Thấu Hiểu.

Thấu Nhĩ: Thấu âm—Auditory clairvoyance—The ability to hear very distant sounds.

Thấu Suốt: To penetrate

Thấu Thị: Visual clairvoyance—Ability to see very distant things.

Thấu Triệt: To know (ins and outs of) thoroughly.

Thay Đổi: Change.

Thay Đổi Không Ngừng: Constant change.

Thấy Đau: To feel pain.

Thấy Lỗi Người Thì Dễ, Thấy Lỗi Mình Khoù: Easy seen are others’ faults; hard indeed to see one’s own faults—The Buddha taught that we should not evade self-responsibility for our own actions by blaming them on circumstances or unluckiness.

Thấy Ma: To see a ghost.

Thấy Như Thực: Yathabhutam (skt)—Thấy vật gì rõ ràng như thực—To perceive things as they are.

Thấy Tánh Thành Phật: To see one’s nature is to achieve Buddhahood.

Thấy Trước: To see in advance or beforehand—To foresee.
